A spectacular, large evergreen shrub, with bipinnate leaves. Covered, during warm months, with large 2 to 3 inch, bright pink powderpuff balls which contrast well with the rich green foliage. While still in bud, the flower is reminiscent of an unripe blackberry. The many filaments of the blooms create the wonderful powderpuff appearance. Full sun to bright filtered light. Moderate moisture in fertile, well-drained, soil.
